Yeah I know it may be quite old but what is more sad? The fact that I had my say on an old post, or the fact you responded to the post? Anyway I do believe that everyone has their own path; but here is the kicker. When they are done studying the person, they go and try to separate themselves with that particular artist.Plus when you study, you are not suppose to study the actual artist; but study how they got the results. What you need to do is get rid of all of the artist's work on your computer, and try to think about the WAY they did it. Not the artpiece in general. What line work they used? How they used the curves in certain pieces? Etc. Etc. Learn from them. Not copy.
